May & June 2023
- In May or June, you’ll participate in a pre-cruise, SEO onboarding meeting with Jessica
- Meet individually with a member of our team to make sure you are completely prepared to get the most out of this experience!
- Identify any Technical Site Issues ahead of time
- Content plan and copy coaching so you can get writing ahead of time!
- If we identify extra pages that would be helpful to have on your website ahead of the cruise, we can discuss tips for you (or a team member) to write them or we can write those for you for an additional fee
- You’ll receive access to your custom SEO Data Dashboard from the onboarding meeting through July 2023

Cruise time!
You’ll participate in group training that will focus on teaching you how to do “on page” optimization so your website has an excellent foundation for SEO. You’ll come prepared with 5 pages that will be your main focus for optimizing (don’t worry, we’ll help you identify these when we meet in May/June) and we’ll teach you everything you need to optimize your pages. You’ll then be able to apply those techniques to the rest of your site as you have time and motivation whether that’s on the cruise or later on!
Also included will be:
- Training on other marketing-related topics
- Additional blog posts given away randomly during the training
- Opportunities to sign up for small group SEO coaching sessions
- And stay tuned for more surprises 🙂
Fall 2023 (Optional)
This fall, we’re offering a series of 6 webinars focused on how our marketing efforts interact with our role as clinicians. We are in the process and hoping to get approval to be an ACE provider and offer ASWB-approved CEs for social workers as well as NBCC credits for these webinars. However, that cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Cruise Details
7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise, roundtrip from Miami, FL on the brand new MSC Seascape!
We chose this particular cruise because:
We get to visit 4 different Caribbean destinations including the MSC private island on the Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, Nassau in the Bahamas, Puerto Plata in the Dominican REpublic & San Juan in Peurto Rico.
A mix of Sea Days and port days means we will have a couple of hours of teaching per day, leaving you enough time to implement what you’re learning AND still have plenty of other time to do work tasks & all the fun activities on board
There’s a great children’s program making it easy for you to balance work and play by bringing your loved ones. Both Danica and Jessica plan to bring our kids who discovered how much they love cruising when we brought them along this winter!

FYI: You’ll have time to do other meetings while on the cruise, as the digital marketing portion will be around 2-3 hours per day of work. Or, enjoy your time away to rest and recharge!
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Cruising is more fun with a friend!
Bring your business bestie (they need to register for the training separately) OR bring a non-participating significant other. Perhaps, your whole family!
Should I bring my kids?
Absolutely! If you’d like. We know some people will want that adult time away from their kiddos, some don’t even have kids and others will want to bring their children & family with them. And if that’s you, we’d love to have your whole family on board!
MSC has a great kids program, and all of our training time will be held when the kids club is open. In fact, Jessica will bring her family and kids who will happily be enjoying the kid’s programming while we work!

What exactly will we learn?
While the focus will be on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), we will touch on other digital marketing techniques as well.
Jessica will break down exactly what needs to be on your website and what you can do to lay really great foundational on-page SEO so Google knows exactly what your website is about and when it should show up in search results.
More specifically, some of the on-page SEO topics we’ll cover include:
- What type of content do you need on your website to rank well
- How to do Keyword Research to figure out what words to target
- Meta Descriptions: How to influence the little description Google shows when you DO show up in search results
- How to use Subheadings Effectively on your Website
- Creating Great Calls to Action
- Using internal links so people (& Google!) look at multiple pages of your website
- Choosing, adding & optimizing photos on your website
- Maintaining & Sustaining SEO
In other words, we’re packing a ton of useful content into just a couple of hours each day so you have time to both absorb the information & apply it immediately!
What will we do each day?
Our tentative daily schedule looks something like this:
- 8-8:30 am: (optional) Answering questions about yesterday’s work & getting feedback on the work you did
- 8:30-10 am: New teaching for the day
- 10-10:30 am: Break
- 10:30-12 pm: (optional) Small group work sessions (approximately every other day your small group will have a work session specifically with Jessica to give you more 1:1 support applying everything you’ll learning)
The rest of the day is YOURS to sip on a drink by the pool, learn new things in activities on the ship, head to the casino, run payroll, check in with your clinicians or clients, network with other practice owners, or anything else that floats your boat!
