As the owner of a medium-sized group psychotherapy practice in Missouri who also owns and leads a team of SEO professionals servicing therapists, I have a unique perspective both when it comes to private practice as a business and the clinical world. I have a passion for the ethical practice of therapy, sustainable growth of practices, and digital marketing strategies.
I’ve spoken at small and large events, both in person and virtually. As a speaker, I love to engage with audiences and encourage participation and discussion. My talks are always tailored to meet the specific needs of the audience, with a focus on providing practical, actionable steps that attendees can implement right away. I never give the exact same talk twice (honestly, I’d get very bored with that) and can adapt well to a variety of audiences.
Highlights of my career have included speaking about the ethics of Evidence-Based Practice for NASW Missouri on several occasions, various presentations given on topics related to suicide prevention, and countless presentations on SEO-related digital marketing topics such as keyword research, content creation using AI, Local SEO & overall SEO strategy. Additionally, I’ve been featured as a guest on a variety of webinars and podcast episodes whose primary audience is private practice owners.
When I have the opportunity to speak to an audience, I take responsibility (but not always myself) very seriously. I know that those watching are investing time, their most valuable resource, to hear me speak. And I want to make sure they leave with new insights and a clear vision for how they can use the information we discussed. And I do mean “we” discussed. Even when I’m speaking to a room of 200, I’ve found ways to engage the audience. No matter how knowledgeable I am on a topic, the truth is that I’ve found it just more fun and more valuable for the audience when we all interact a bit.
