As a successful group therapy practice owner herself, Jessica Tappana understands the importance of marketing your practice and getting your name out to the right potential clients. A well-ranking website has been Jessica’s number one marketing tool for her Columbia, MO counseling practice. In fact, she went from nonexistent to a thriving 5 therapist group practice in 18 months! Now, Jessica enjoys helping other practice owners like you watch their websites soar up through the pages of search engines. Since July 2018, Jessica has helped a growing number of websites move up through the ranks of Google. Jessica is proud to say that she’s helped therapists around the country from more rural areas to really competitive areas to some of the largest metropolitan areas in the country reach the first page of Google for some of their keywords. For nearly a decade, Danica has been an Adjunct Faculty Member for the MU School of Social Work. Her campus work focuses on trauma, sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, Social Work skills, violence prevention, and survivor advocacy. Off-campus, Danica owns and operates Harmony Birth Services, a full-spectrum doula agency in Columbia, Missouri. Blending trauma work and birth work has been a passion since giving birth to her oldest child in 2013. Now a mother of two, Danica loves the freedom of self-employment and remote work while the kiddos are small. She loves music, exploring local parks and trails, and creating beautiful gifts in her “craft corner”. Over the years, Danica has seen the benefit of great SEO and is thrilled to help other helping professionals get solid results, too!
Cory Moss, B.A.

As a passionate advocate for many benefits of counseling, Cory takes her role as a mental health SEO specialist very seriously. Therefore, she feels that it is important that talented private practice owners and therapists are able to reach their target clients quicker on Google and other search engines. Cory will go the extra mile to make sure our Simplified SEO clients rank higher on Google. Cory graduated with her B.A. in Psychology from Columbia College and is really excited to use her mental health knowledge in this capacity. As a new mother, Cory enjoys the flexibility that working remotely affords her while “filling her bucket” professionally helping others get great SEO results.
Alyssa Kohne, BSW
Mental Health SEO Specialist
Alyssa is a tenacious go-getter and applies these qualities in her role as a mental health SEO specialist. She believes in the magic someone feels when they find the “perfect” therapist.
Alyssa is in the Advanced Placement Master of Social Work program at Mizzou. She is currently pursuing the clinical track. In addition to graduate school, Alyssa works at the intimate partner violence shelter in her community. She splits her time between providing clients direct services and assisting in the administrative functioning of the organization. She is also a research assistant for a professor in the School of Social Work. Currently, they are evaluating the effectiveness of self-monitoring interventions for kiddos with behavioral issues. In addition, she is an SEO Specialist! Previously, she was a student clinician at the Integrated Behavioral Clinic (IBHC). The IBHC is a student-run clinic that provides free mental health services to individuals throughout the state who are underinsured or do not have insurance. Her professional interests include providing services to survivors of intimate partner violence, treatment for disordered cognitions surrounding food and body image, and all things trauma. Alyssa really enjoys interacting with clinicians throughout the country and increasing her knowledge about the clinical interventions they provide.
Jasmine Jaquess, B.S. Exercise Science, MA Candidate
Mental Health SEO Specialist
Jasmine is participating in the online/in-person Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Northwestern University. In addition, she is an SEO Specialist! Previously, she was the student Director at Truman State Universities Women’s Resource Center where she focused on working with the student population to increase mental health and safety through peer to peer counseling and hosted events pertaining to women and social justice issues. She also received her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a psychology minor from TSU. Her professional interests include fusing the connection between behavior change psychology and exercise science. Her overarching goal is to work with underserved communities and provide affordable health care services to them through three dimensions of health (mental, physical, and nutritional health). Jasmine’s favorite part of the job is getting to interact with clinicians who have all kinds of experience and therapy techniques. A fun fact about Jasmine is that she used to be a contemporary dancer and she loves any type of Asian cuisine.
