This 1-hour, live, interactive Zoom webinar was designed for private practice owners and social work professionals. Join Jessica Tappana of Aspire Counseling and Stephanie Korpal of Marble Wellness, two Missouri group practice owners, in this webinar about why & how Missouri mental health providers across mental health settings – nonprofit; hospitals; private practice; Missouri group practice owners; schools – have an ethical duty to responsibly address burnout.
Attendees may ask and answer questions throughout the presentation and participate in instructor-led discussions. Registration will be open until the day of the event, with CE fees paid via the included online link prior to the event.

Learning Objectives:
Participants will identify potential ethical pitfalls related to addressing burnout
Participants will compare applicable ethical standards of NASW and related fields as they apply to this topic
Participants will create a plan for how to prepare for and prevent burnout in an ethical way
CE Info Course Completion Requirements: To earn CE credit, social workers must log in at the scheduled time, attend the entire course with video on, and complete an online course evaluation provided and submitted via Google Form within 24 hours of course completion. Certificates of completion will be emailed to eligible participants within 30 days of course completion. Please see our CE Grievance Policy for complaints and other details, if needed.

Jessica is trained in DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and Exposure & Response Prevention and specializes in evidence-based treatment of PTSD, anxiety & OCD. She finds sticky ethical situations fascinating and loves learning about the nuanced differences between various codes of ethics and is a member of the Missouri NASW Ethics Committee.

Stephanie Korpal, LPC (MO), LCPC (IL) is a dedicated and compassionate licensed therapist with a thriving practice serving individuals in both Missouri and Illinois. With a mission to foster wellness and healing, Stephanie embarked on her journey in 2018, founding Marble Wellness as a solo clinician. Today, she leads a dynamic team of 10+ skilled professionals and operates from conveniently co-located offices in St. Louis and Chicago.
As a therapist, Stephanie’s expertise spans two crucial domains: maternal mental health and burnout. She understands the unique challenges faced by mothers and individuals grappling with burnout, and she approaches her clients’ therapeutic journeys with a holistic perspective.
