One of the biggest challenges practice clients owners face when upping their digital marketing game is finding the time to practice everything we teach. During this blogging retreat, we’ll take the overwhelm out of writing by giving you step-by-step instructions and lots of support. AND we’ll give you plenty of time to implement these new practices. To write and make changes to your website right there as you learn.
You’ll be able to combat the stress of trying something new by working on your website while sitting next to the pool, feeling relaxed around the fire pit, walking along the river, or chatting with colleagues while looking into the sunset over the Steinhatchee River.

What is Included in this Blog Writing Retreat and Workshop?
Will I leave with fully written blogs?
The short answer is YES! We hope you’ll leave with 5 fully written blog posts ready to go on your website and a list of ideas to continue writing about after you leave!
After this retreat you’ll:
- Have a list of blog post topics that will appeal to the clients you most enjoy working with
- Have one blog post you write “the old fashioned way”
- Have four blog posts you wrote in MUCH less time using 4 different “short cuts”
- And we’ll teach you to use each of these short cuts in an effective, ethical way that saves you time while making sure you’re still putting out content with accurate, helpful information for your clients!
What exactly will we learn?
We will be exploring best practices in blogging, using proven techniques and even technologies. Some session topics include:
- Exploring data-driven blog post ideas
- Using your environment for inspiration
- Free writing without fear
- Using technology effectively for blog writing
- …and, more! (Jessica and Danica value being responsive to participant needs)
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Writing is more fun with a friend!
Bring your business bestie along, and you can share a room (arranged directly with the resort, on your own). Bring someone else from your practice, and they can be added for $500. Just email Admin@simplifiedseoconsulting.com to get an additional, custom invoice sent to lock your spot in ASAP.
What will we do each day?
We will be doing a mix of productivity and play. This trip is meant to be meaningful and magical for you. Blog writing should be enjoyable, and one of the best ways to find inspiration is to give yourself time and space to create. While we will have dedicated training time, we will also have unstructured time for creativity and connection with other mental health professionals.
The rest of the time is YOURS to sip on a drink by the pool, take a walk by the river, visit a local bar or restaurant, run payroll, check in with your clinicians or clients, network with other practice owners, or anything else that floats your boat on the Steinhatchee River.
More specifically:
*Wednesday evening you’ll arrive and we’ll have a bonfire that evening!
*Thursday we’ll work hard
*Friday will be a mix of work and play with a little pontoon boat time and a fish fry that evening!
*Saturday we’ll all head out unless you want to stay and enjoy a weekend on the river!
Accommodations (Not Included in Participation Cost)
We’ll be staying at a beautiful resort on the Steinhatchee River, with a pool, fire pit, marina, on-site parking, and easy access to local restaurants and entertainment. We’ve got an incredible room rate for participants! All resort information will be sent upon registration so you can make accommodations ASAP.
Can I have my own room?
Absolutely! All room reservations will be made directly with the resort, using “Simplified SEO” to get the best possible room rate.
Should I bring my kids? My pets?
Absolutely! If you’d like. We know some people will want that adult time away from their kiddos, some don’t even have kids and others will want to bring their children & family with them.
Our resort is pet-friendly, and there are plenty of close activities and entertainment options for the whole family.
